At Mountain Medical we believe in complete price transparency and provide you with an upfront, accurate estimate of your out of pocket costs. We will ask you a few questions about your insurance plan and can give you an idea of what your insurance will leave you as your responsibility. We can also offer you our self pay prices. Some patients opt for this rather than using their insurance. We can also offer you flat rate prices. Know your costs prior to your appointment.
At Mountain Medical, you will know the cost of your exam prior to your visit.
A doctor’s referral is necessary for an MRI, but you can choose where you want to go. It might be tempting to want a MRI without consulting your doctor, but our Board Certified Radiologists coordinating with your physician assures the best possible care and optimal treatment plan. Your doctor has history about your health which helps our radiologists interpret your study more accurately. The radiologist’s report is sent back to your physician who is best qualified to create your treatment plan. This collaboration is smart health care.
